What a difference a little color makes!


Last week, I shared with you some pictures of the first flowers we made using royal icing instead of buttercream. I decided to go ahead and make the mums and violets for my final cake with some of the leftover icing. I colored my icing before making them. I have to say that adding a little color makes a huge difference, don't you think? These flowers will harden and be all ready for class next week when we make our final cake for the Level II Course.
